Size Guide

Finding your perfect press-on nail size is the key to a comfortable, natural-looking, and long-lasting fit. At Nail Editor, we recommend measuring your nails carefully before placing an order.

Please follow the guide below to choose the best size for you.

1. Why Sizing Matters

Press-on nails are designed to sit closely over your natural nails. A good fit should feel comfortable, secure, and natural.

If the nail is too small, it may feel tight, leave part of your natural nail exposed, or pop off more easily.

If the nail is too large, it may press against your skin, look less natural, or lift around the edges.

For the best result, each press-on nail should cover your natural nail from sidewall to sidewall without touching the surrounding skin.

2. How to Measure Your Nails

You can measure your nails using either a soft measuring tape or the paper strip method.

Please measure the widest part of each natural nail in millimeters.

We recommend measuring both hands, as nail sizes may vary slightly between your left and right hand.

3. Method 1: Soft Measuring Tape

Use a soft measuring tape and place it across the widest part of your natural nail.

Make sure the tape follows the natural curve of your nail.

Record the width in millimeters for each finger.

Repeat this process for all 10 nails.

4. Method 2: Paper Strip Method

Take a thin strip of paper or tape.

Place it across the widest part of your natural nail.

Mark both side edges of your nail on the paper.

Lay the paper flat and measure the distance between the two marks in millimeters.

Repeat this process for all 10 nails.

6. Between Two Sizes?

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.

A slightly larger press-on nail can usually be gently filed along the sides for a better fit.

A nail that is too small may not fully cover your natural nail and may be less secure.

7. Nail Shape & Curve

Sizing is not only about width. The natural curve of your nails can also affect the fit.

If you have flatter nail beds, some press-on nails may feel more curved.

If you have highly curved nail beds, some nails may feel less fitted at the sides.

If needed, you can gently press the nail before application to check how it sits on your natural nail.

Please do not force a nail to fit if it feels uncomfortable or presses into your skin.

8. Custom Size Option

If standard sizes do not fit you well, you may choose a custom size option where available.

For custom sizing, please provide the width of each nail in millimeters in the following order:

Thumb / Index / Middle / Ring / Pinky

Left Hand: ___ / ___ / ___ / ___ / ___

Right Hand: ___ / ___ / ___ / ___ / ___

Please double-check your measurements before submitting a custom size order. Custom-made or personalized nail sets may not be eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

9. Sizing Responsibility

Customers are responsible for checking the size guide and selecting the correct size before placing an order.

Incorrect sizing selected by the customer is not considered a product defect.

We are happy to provide sizing guidance before purchase. If you are unsure about your size, please contact us before placing your order.
